Nun dies ist nicht nur einfach ein Name, Quinto kennen alle in Siena. Wie das? Nun, Sie k\u00f6nnen hunderte von hungrigen Studenten fragen, die in den 50\u2019er Jahren in ihm einen sympatischen, herzlichen und guten Gastgeber gefunden haben, der so riesige, gehaltvolle und preiswerte belegte Brote machte, und damit Reihen von jungen Leuten vor die Tore der Stadt lockte, aus der Universit\u00e4t und aus den Schulen. Kurz und gut, Quinto hat Generationen von hungrigen B\u00e4uchern und Geister gestillt. Nach den belegten Br\u00f6tchen hat er ein Restaurant er\u00f6ffnet, dass zu einem Meilenstein seneser Gastronomie wurde. In allen nationalen und internationalen Reisef\u00fchrern k\u00f6nnen Sie \u201eDa Quinto al Ceppo\u201c finden. Italiener, Deutsche, Franzosen und Engl\u00e4nder, alle haben sie festgestellt, wie gut und wie preiswert man hier essen konnte. Reichhaltige Portionen, h\u00f6chste Qualit\u00e4t, ehrliche Preise. Ein Traum? Wir leben und arbeiten hier immer noch alle zusammen. Und wir haben festgestellt, viel G\u00e4ste kommen m\u00fcde an, sie essen und w\u00fcrden sich auch gerne ausruhen. Und da wir uns direkt an der antiken Frankenstrasse befinden, an der fr\u00fcher die antiken Gasth\u00e4user Kost und Logie anboten, so haben wir beschlossen, gut, das bieten wir auch an! Kein Hotel wie es viele gibt, kein Agrartourismus (wir sind keine Landwirte!), nur ein Dutzend moderate Zimmer, sauber, einladend, um denen, die es w\u00fcnschen, eine Unterkunft anzubieten. Im \u00fcbrigen, jeder Scheideweg bietet die M\u00f6glichkeit, viele neue Orte zu erreichen. Die Sonne brennt, eine leichte Brise weht, die Felder sind rot in \u201eGebrannter Siena\u201c. Wir glauben, dies ist eine gute Idee. Der Klempner kommt zum Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck vorbei, der Arzt zu einem belegten Brot, der Tourist f\u00fcr einen Teller Bandnudeln mit Wildschweinragout, eine Gruppe von Freunden zu Wein und ger\u00f6steten Brotscheiben. Sie kommen und gehen. Sie kommen und gehen. Diese Stra\u00dfe sieht sie seit einem Jahrtausend.
